Thankful for Thanksgiving

Every year we spend Thanksgiving with my parents, brother, Aunt Jane, Uncle Chuck, Cousin's Greg and Garret. We always have a great time together no matter where the holiday is hosted. This year we celebrated in Ramona, CA at Chuck and Janes and as always, they out did themselves. From the decorations to the food and fun. Every holiday with my family revolves around food. Especially Thanksgiving!! Everyone has the favorites, likes and dislikes. However it is very rare that anything is ever removed off the menu. As soon as some will say "I don't think we need that next year", I volunteer to go ahead and bring it. I hate change.

Up until this year I brought most of the menu removals. Humm, come to think of it, all the junk food. Todd and I were asked for the second year to bring desert and that is what we did. Well somewhere between breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner the boys, David, Greg and Garrett, realized there were no chips and dip. Luckly, Jane had a secret back up stash and the boys quickly made up the dip. We never starve at these functions! It was decided right there that David was now the new person in charge of dip, chips and soda. I am still to bring rolls and desert. We will see at Christmas what new items will get passed down to which young adult. I think Greg can bring the soda's next year.
