Saying Goodbye 2008

We have never sent out a family letter with our holiday cards, however I think we hope to in 2009. With that said, I though I would say goodbye to one of the most incredible years for Todd, myself and our family here on my blog. This blog has been a great way for me to share our 2008 with everyone who checks in with us.

The birth of Cameron was the highlight of our year and it can't be accurately described in words. We are thrilled to be parents and to have started our family this year. With new priorities we truly realize what is important and the people in our lives who mean the most. For those of you who did not see us or hear from us much this year, please know it was truly due to the many many things we chose to take on in 2008.

We worked feverishly, Todd also went to school, right up until Cameron was born. Then after, spent most of our free time adjusting to parenthood and house hunting. Todd also started a new career in Computer Aided Design "CAD". We called it close for 2008, but closed on our new home December 22 and moved in December 27. That was quite the ride and in the end we are thrilled with the house and location. We are excited to have a house for Cameron to grow up in; a place for our family to grow, a garage for Todd, an office for me and a back yard for Torrey Dog, Oh... and a bed room for Uncle David.

We want all of our friends and family to know that we love you very much and are grateful for all of your support as we achieved these life goals this past year. From the baby shower, bringing us food, home purchasing advice, helping us move, watching Cameron and so much more. We could not have done it with out you. We look forward to 2009 and a chance to relax, smell the newly planted roses and celebrate all of the wonderful new joys 2009 will bring for our family and yours!
