Butterflies

One afternoon I saw several black caterpillars crawling across our side walk. I had not see so many at one time before. Later that afternoon I saw the caterpillars on our wall. They had climbed up and were sitting above our kitchen window. The next morning, they were both hanging upside down in a J shape. Over the next 12 hours we saw them both cocoon. Within 2 weeks we had Butterflies. It was the coolest thing and neither Todd or I had ever seen this before. I tried to capture it so I could share.

DAY 1 they attached and one transformed

Day 2: they were both in a cocoon.

2 weeks later, they emerged
