Yesterday, Todd and I got to see the baby again for our 20 week check up. They were able to tell us that we are having a Baby Girl and she is very healthy. We could not be more thrilled to be blessed with this little miracle. As you will see in the pictures the ultrasound really magnifies through the babies skin. They said she is 8 inches long and I was surprised to hear that. The book I have been reading said she would be the size of a Mango. That's a big Mango.
This picture is a little tricky. You should be able to see the left eye clearly. The right is a little lower and dark. You can see her nose, lips and chin. There is a white V shape just above her eyes. The dark shadow above that is part of her forehead/brain. Her right arm is up and her hand is on her face by her eye.
