Todd and I went out to North Island Naval Base with our friend Heather to welcome home her husband, our very good friend, Sean from a 6 month deployment in the Arabian Gulf. The USS Nimitz Left San Diego on April 2, 2007 with Sean and Todd both aboard. Todd returned the end of May as his service with the Navy ended. Sean stayed on. Sean and Heather had just had their son Kelan, 2 weeks before deployment. It was amazing to see their family reunite as well and hundreds of other families. We feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends. We all really missed Sean.
